Brian Petro
Principal, Bright Productions
Website Design
Brian Petro founded Bright Productions Website Design (bpwebdesign.com)
in 1995, to capitalize on the expanding commercial possibilities of the
Internet. During the past fifteen years, Brian has built a solid reputation for
helping his clients develop and implement powerful, integrated online marketing
strategies.
Experienced in a broad spectrum of Internet technologies and systems, Brian has collaborated with such diverse companies as Chevron, Redwood Merchant Services (National Bank of the Redwoods), Dey, LP (Merck), and DMG World Media. Brian earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 1992. An accomplished public speaker and writer, Brian participates in public forums and panels on technology. Brian also sits in multiple collegiate oversight boards that help develop university curriculum. As an expert witness, Brian has helped resolve legal cases that involve web development and online marketing. He frequently donates his expertise to local charitable organizations on pro bono projects.
Steve Rustad
Marketing Consultant
Steve Rustad brings more than 30 years of advertising, marketing, and
creative experience to Bright Productions. An award-winning writer, artist, and
commercial director, Steve's extensive background includes leadership positions
at several of the advertising industry's leading national firms, including
Ketchum Communications, Foote, Cone & Belding, and J. Walter Thompson. Steve's
work has garnered numerous accolades, including the prestigious Clio award for
television commercials promoting Safeway, Duraflame firelogs, Sea Galley
seafood restaurants, and the California Milk Advisory Board, and a number of
Silver Microphone Awards for excellence in radio advertising.
An agency principal (Stephen Rustad & Associates, Rustad Ross Marketing Communications, JB & Associates, and now Rustad Marketing) since 1985, Steve has led creative firms serving prominent clients in a broad range of industries, including hospitality (The Fairmont Hotel, The Canterbury Hotel), foods (The California Fig Advisory Board, Canned Foods Grocery Outlets, Bubbies Kosher Dill Pickles), consumer goods and services (Core-Mark, Coit Cleaners, Holland Brothers), high tech (Altima Computers, Cardinal Technologies, Digital Generation Systems, Interactive Network, PC World Magazine Online Services, Advanced Telcom Group), publishing (McGraw-Hill), finance (Summit State Bank), and healthcare (Sutter Health Services). Steve's current focus is educating businesses in the value of building unique brands that differentiate them from their competitors. Steve is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley.
Randall Chet
Art Director, Designer,
Illustrator
Randall Chet built an impressive 20 years of experience as an art
director, designer, and illustrator in ad agencies from Ohio to North Carolina
to California. As a design professional in Toledo, Ohio, Randall was the
resident Pink Panther artist on the Owens-Corning Fiberglas account. He has
created art for clients in such diverse industries as manufacturing (Champion
Spark Plug, Ohlins USA, Sola Optical, DSI), finance (First Bank, American
AgCredit, Parsec Financial, Redwood Empire Bancorp), education (Bauman College,
The Asheville School, The Mountain Community School), healthcare (Sutter Health
Services, Sonoma Valley Hospital, Kaiser-Permanente, St. Luke's Hospital), and
viticulture (Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates, Sebastiani Vineyards and
Winery).
Randall's talents include not only artistic and illustrative skills, but also conceptual and communicative skills, and proficiency in the latest design software, including Quark Xpress, Adobe InDesign and PhotoShop, and Macromedia Freehand and Dreamweaver. Randall appreciates fine typography and enjoys digitizing and reviving long-forgotten typefaces. Randall earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Bowling Green State University.
Jackson Walker
Web Development
Specialist
Jackson has been designing web sites since 1996. In that time, he has
designed and helped build hundreds of cutting edge websites for a variety of
clients. His eye for design is balanced by his ability to communicate
effectively. On top of his many technical skills he is certified by Google as
a search engine marketing expert. He completed the ArtQuest Digital Arts
program with honors in 2005. Jackson is resourceful and creative, and he is
passionate about his work. He balances his technical interests with his love
for outdoor recreation, art, and music.
Steven Bower
Programmer and Systems
Administrator
Steven is an asset that BP is lucky to have. Aside from being our lead
programmer, Steven also attends to all the day to day maintenance on the BP web
server. His practical online experience reaches back almost a decade to when
advanced programming on the web was just in its infancy. Steven's high
standards for programming result in well designed applications for clients that
run efficiently and are easy to maintain. Steven is always watching the latest
trends in new web technology and has a special gift for developing search
engine friendly applications.
Matthew Barrow
Web Development
Specialist
Matthew has made a big impact at BP in his short time with us. Matthew
introduced new documentation and reporting techniques for SEO and Google
Adwords; as well as wrote a new application to increase the throughput
of work for Google Adwords. As recent Sonoma State Computer Science
Graduate, Matthew bring a high passion for programming, web development
and anything technically related.
Kyle Tripp
Web Development Specialist Kyle specializes in both front and and back end web development and works with languages such as HTML, PHP, CSS, Javascript, Jquery as well as web development platforms like WordPress and Joomla. Kyle is in the process of graduating from Sonoma State University with a degree in Computer Science. Areas of interest besides web development include Artificial Intelligence, Game Trees, Alpha Beta Pruning, Databases, Object Oriented C++, iPhone programming and Discreet Structures.
